Description

Support healthy weight and glucose control by restoring balance in the gut with Akkermansia, a postbiotic breakthrough. Healthy Weight with Glucose Control is powered by the most-researched Akkermansia strain (MucTTM) and is the first Akkermansia muciniphila product clinically studied in humans.

Pasteurised vs Live Akkermansia
Live Akkermansia muciniphila often gets destroyed in the stomach. Pasteurised Akkermansia MucT is more stable, allowing it to reach your small intestine and colon to help protect your gut barrier.

Pasteurised Akkermansia has unique advantages; these include being the safest form and dosing that is consistent and stable with each tablet.

How It Works
Healthy Weight with Glucose Control targets gut barrier integrity by strengthening intestinal tight junctions. It also works through metabolic signalling pathways and increases gut mucus production.

This breakthrough postbiotic supports GLP-1 regulation and healthy weight management.

Formulated for Synergy
Healthy Weight with Glucose Control contains carefully selected clinically aligned ingredients. These ingredients are designed to work synergistically - supporting gut integrity, metabolic signalling, and glucose control.

Frequently asked questions

Who is Akkermansia Healthy Weight for?

Adults wanting to support a healthy weight, those who may have reached their goal weight and want a simple, science-backed daily routine to help maintain their results. It's may also be suited for adults in midlife who feel maintaining their weight has gotten harder over time.

Is this a weight loss product?

Akkermansia Healthy Weight is designed to support healthy weight maintenance* — not rapid loss, restriction, or stimulation. For best results, use as part of a healthy diet and active lifestyle.

Can I take this while I'm on a GLP-1 medication?

Akkermansia Healthy Weight may be suitable while on a GLP-1 medication, when transitioning off the medication — throughout the weight management journey. As always, consult your healthcare professional before starting any new supplement, especially if you're currently taking medication.

How long until I see results?

In a published clinical study, pasteurised Akkermansia MucT™ was taken daily for 12 weeks and demonstrated improved metabolic health and fat loss. A second clinical study showed that when taken daily for 24 weeks post weight loss, the Akkermansia MucT™ group had gained up to 58% less weight, reducing weight rebound.

Does it need to be refrigerated?

No. Because Akkermansia Healthy Weight uses pasteurized Akkermansia (a postbiotic), it's shelf-stable at room temperature — no refrigeration required.

What is Akkermansia muciniphila and what does it do?

Akkermansia munciniphila is a keystone bacterium that makes up around 4% of the gut microbiome. High levels of this gut microbe are found in lean, healthy people. Akkermansia is considered a 'next generation' probiotic and is mentioned in over 5000 research papers. Not all Akkermansia are equal, with live being unstable and clinical research being on the pasteurised or heat-treated form.

What should I look for in an Akkermansia supplement?

Choosing the best Akkermansia supplement includes consideration of the specific strain used and dosage being backed by human clinical research, as well as meeting strict quality criteria in sourcing and manufacturing. Akkermansia MucT™ is the original, patented strain based on 20 years of research.

Live vs. pasteurized Akkermansia - which is better?

In preclinical studies and a proof-of-concept human trial,¹˒² the pasteurized form of Akkermansia muciniphila MucT™ outperformed the live strain across several measures of metabolic health - supporting a stronger gut barrier, healthy blood sugar response, and healthy body composition and lipid levels. That's why we've built our formula around the pasteurised form: it's the version the science points to.

Based on preclinical (laboratory and animal) studies and an early-stage human proof-of-concept trial. Individual results may vary.

How does my gut affect my metabolism?

Your gut is in constant conversation with the rest of your body. Cells lining the gut release natural messengers that help control blood sugar, signal when you're full, and support how you use energy from food³. A healthy gut lining also works as a protective barrier, keeping unwanted substances like bacterial molecules where they belong. When that barrier weakens and your gut bacteria fall out of balance, it can trigger inflammation⁴. Over time, this "low-grade inflammation" may affect how well your body handles blood sugar and fat — which is why gut health and metabolic health are so closely linked⁵.
